With this year’s wedding season now drawing to a close we can look back & reflect on how 2020 truly was a year unlike any other, affecting us all in different ways. But even in these uncertain times, couples looking to get married in a breath-taking location could still have the destination wedding of their dreams…it just needed a little extra patience & the right expert help from professionals in-the-know!
Couples planning their dream weddings during Covid times this year did face a few unexpected challenges along the way, but we’re thrilled to say that in the end each & every one of our unique 2020 weddings went like a dream! And due to the Covid restrictions here in Greece being only minor, we were able to plan & carry out all our amazing wedding celebrations with almost no adjustments. In fact, with Greece and particularly Crete being one of the safer places to be this year, many visitors to the country (our wedding couples included!) commented on how much safer & more comfortable they felt here than in their own countries. Yet another reason to love Greece!

Keeping everyone safe during their wedding day celebrations was our main priority from day one. Our safety guidelines for the well being of every member of the wedding party include the use of face masks (worn at guests’ discretion) & hand sanitizer which can also be offered to guests as unique & practical wedding favours; personalised masks with the couple’s names, wedding date or hashtag (a great fun-photo opportunity!) and antiseptic hand gel in cute wedding-themed dispensers which can be used after the wedding and kept in handbags or cars. A useful & topical wedding keepsake!
Like everyone, we’re hoping for a return to (near!) normality for our eagerly-awaited 2021 weddings. But as we’ve proved this year, even if there are still restrictions to follow, there’s always a way to bring a precious wedding dream to life!
