Dreams do come true! Linzi & Bradley’s wish to get married in the most heavenly of destinations, the sun-kissed Greek island of Crete, went from vision to reality when they travelled from the UK to say their I dos. With close family & friends by their side, the happy couple celebrated the most wonderful day of their lives with a fabulous wedding that simply radiated love & joy. The setting for their big day celebrations was a truly breath-taking luxury resort hotel built around an age-old lagoon, with towering palm trees and panoramic views of the ocean stretching as far as the eye can see.
The ceremony was held on the stylish hotel’s wedding patio where the aesthetically orchestrated set up was nothing short of spellbinding.
The couple’s carefully chosen personalised welcome sign and stationery, in their wedding colour palette, included coordinating table numbers & seating sign, buffet cards and ‘Reserved’ signs for the bridal party’s ceremony seats. These essential wedding décor elements blended in effortlessly with the hotel’s beautiful natural surroundings.
The gorgeous white blooms & fresh greenery arranged on the natural wood wedding arch created a stunning focal point for Linzi & Brad’s heartfelt ceremony.
After the moving entrance of the bridal party, the guests followed the bespoke service seated on the sunny lawn, on elegant white Chiavari wedding chairs with matching floral décor of white flowers & fresh eucalyptus stems.
With their six bridesmaids, nine groomsmen, and two cute flower girls by their side, the bride and groom exchanged their vows in the company of those dearest to them, ending with a joyous ‘You may kiss the bride!’
After the ceremony, Linzi & Bradley received emotional congratulations from their guests before a celebratory drinks & cocktail reception in the hotel’s ritzy sunset lounge. A romantic saxophonist created a beautiful ambiance as the guests mingled & enjoyed the endless ocean views. The new Mr & Mrs made their first grand entrance of the evening after their couple’s photo shoot, where the setting’s gorgeous natural light helped create the most spectacular photo opportunities.
After the late summer sunset had cast its incredible colours across the sky and disappeared beyond the horizon, the excited guests made their way to the stunning reception area on the pool deck in preparation for the wedding dinner. The hotel’s expert chefs had crafted a menu filled with mouth-watering local & international delicacies and after Brad & Linzi re-joined their friends & family following more timeless moments with their wedding photographer, the feast began! Classic long tables with elegant candle arrangements and vibrant floral centrepieces & garlands set the scene for an unforgettable wedding dinner experience.
The evening continued with speeches from the father of the bride & the best man to honour the new couple and also from the groom himself. Both entertaining & sincere, the speeches kept the guests captivated with tears of laughter & emotion. After the cutting of their 3-tier rustic iced wedding cake, Linzi & Brad shared their first dance together as newlyweds and were soon joined on the dance floor by their family & friends.
The after-wedding party then kicked off with a spectacular firework display which filled the night sky with colour & sparkle and delighted everyone with a magical show of lights.
Giant LED ‘LOVE’ letters added a fantastic backdrop for crazy photos as well as lighting up the dance area with their soft glow.
As the last song was played and the celebrations came to a close, it had truly been a wedding day that dreams are made of!
